Mrs. Esparza: 1st Grade

Teacher/ Personal Bio:

My family and I are from San Diego. My husband and I have been married for 22 years, and we have three children and a fur baby! I have been a public-school teacher for 15 years. For the past few years, we have been praying for our children to be able to attend a Christian school and for our family to continue to serve. Our prayers have been answered! My eldest son is attending a Christian University! My daughter and son will be attending Trinity Christian School, and God has opened the door for me to teach at Trinity Christian School! I am grateful for the opportunity to help children grow spiritually, academically, and emotionally.

I love to sing and worship!   

Favorite Scripture: “whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:8

What the verse means to me:

As I am reminded of this verse, it reminds me of being a young child in Sunday School. It was the first verse I was challenged by my Sunday School teacher to memorize. It is so applicable to my life! I strive daily to meditate on these words, and I challenge myself to apply them to my life.
