In Kindergarten, we learn to read, write, and explore God’s creation! Students learn important social skills and how to work with others to complete tasks, overcome complications, and accomplish goals. Everyday is a learning adventure!

I grew up in Sierra Madre, California with my parents and older brother. Now I live in Alhambra with my husband, Kyle. After dating for six years, we got married on June 12, 2016.

I became a Christian when I was 14. I had just started high school and the school held a special chapel service for the whole school. At the end of the message, the speaker asked everyone who wanted to commit their life to Christ to stand up. I looked around and realized I had stood up without realizing. I tried to sit but my legs wouldn’t move. As I stood, I felt the Holy Spirit fill me and I began to pray for the first time. Since that day, I have experienced many health challenges but the Lord has shown His faithfulness and renewed my strength in ways I could never have imagined. My favorite Bible verse is Romans 12:12 “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”

I attended Biola University and earned the following degrees: Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, Minor in Biblical Studies, and Minor in Spanish. During this time, I also earned a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I am currently back at Biola University working on a Masters of Education and my CLEAR Credential.

In my free time, I love to cook, bake, and decorate cakes. I also love to sing and have been involved in choirs since the 5th grade. This love for music led me to establish the Trinity Christian Choir in the fall of 2017. My husband and I spend our free time going to musicals and Clippers games
