“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9

Doing what is right can be unpopular, especially amongst our youth. Doing good, can sometimes get a bad rap, but over time, doing good will reap much bigger dividends than doing what we know is wrong or something that satisfies us for the moment. This is a lesson we all have learned, and I’m still learning today, but most importantly, it’s a lesson we must teach our children. The concept of reaping a harvest by doing good, speaks to me that it will take time before you see results. In this world today, we want and expect results immediately.

  • Distance Learning Classes – Last week we finished our first full week of classes. There were some issues with students being able to log into their classes. Make sure they are logging into the right class as the Zoom logins are different for chapels and for upper grade classes with multiple teachers. If you have an issue, call the school office.
  • K-4 Pickup and Drop off of school work: Every Friday
    • Drop-off and pick-up between 10:00am-5:00pm.
    • Do your best to pick up so your child can begin their work on the weekend.
    • Be sure to have your temperature checked when you arrive.
  • Back to School Night – Zoom Meeting
    • 5th–8th Grade: Thursday, September 24, @ 6:30pm with Mr. Jepsen
      • Meeting ID: 880 6989 1574
      • Password: John3:16
    • Your child’s teacher will set up a Back to School Night Meeting after or before my meetings.
  • Chapels – We our having chapels weekly with the students.
    • This week:
      • K-4th @ 9:00 on Tuesday with Pastor Eddie
      • 5th – 8th @ 9:00 on Thursday with Mr. Jepsen
  • Yearbook – You may be at home with your child, but you are still a part of the Trinity Experience. The yearbook is a documentation about the school year. 2020 is a year to remember or should I say we would all like to forget. Either way, we should document our students lives whether at home or eventually at school. In order to for us document distance learning, we need you to send in pictures. (See the attached flyer)
  • Daycare Waiver – I submitted a waiver for us to be able to open up our daycare for parents who need to work. Our program would be open from 8:00 – 5:00. Last spring when we provided daycare during the shutdown, I was surprised as to how many families did not use it. If we were to open up our daycare, it must be feasible for us to do so. Please let me know through email if you think you will bring your child to Trinity for daycare and distance learning.
  • Reopening – We are getting closer to reopening in Los Angeles County. Praying it will happen soon.
